Marco develops metrology protocols to characterize large batches of diamonds for quality control, and manages the Australia lab, including the procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of scientific equipment. As part of the Metrology team, he evaluates the performance of diamond substrates, supporting Quantum Brilliance’s goal of developing the best diamond material for quantum computing and sensing applications.

Marco holds a PhD in Applied Physics from RMIT University, where he studied the properties of diamond materials for quantum sensing. His experience with color centers in diamonds spans 10+ years, beginning during his master’s degree in Physics at the University of Turin.
