Magnetic anomaly detection applications for security, safety, and defense
featured article
Many magnetic sensors are sensitive enough for magnetic anomaly detection. Very few are mass-manufacturable and deployable at scale in demanding field conditions. Diamond-based quantum sensing lifts that constraint, opening MAD to border and perimeter monitoring, concealed subsurface structures, unexploded ordnance survey, harbor approaches, and blind-spot detection.
Sarah Sharp, VP of Quantum Sensing at Quantum Brilliance, walks through the applications that room-temperature NV-diamond sensing now makes possible.
