Dr. andreas sawadsky

Andreas drives technology strategy, roadmap development, and technical communication, partnering with the CTO and leading cross-functional alignment across research, engineering, and product. He transitioned from academia into industry to translate advanced quantum research into deployable systems that create value for customers.

Andreas holds a PhD in Quantum Optics, Optomechanics, and Gravitational Physics from Leibniz University Hannover. During his doctoral work, he contributed within the LIGO Scientific Collaboration to the development of ultra-precision optical interferometry technologies that enabled the first direct detection of gravitational waves; an achievement that pushed the limits of measurement science and was long considered impossible.

Andreas’ postdoctoral research produced multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading scientific journals, establishing a strong track record in precision experimentation, data analysis, and large-scale scientific collaboration.
