Dr. cedric weber

Cedric leads the division on quantum device theory and modelling with a focus on delivering a device technology development software kit for diamond quantum devices, which will empower researchers and device fabricators of the diamond community.

Cedric is a distinguished scientist with 80+ authored publications spanning over the last three decades across the disciplines of condensed matter, materials science, statistical physics, quantum chemistry and quantum sciences.

Cedric graduated from the Swiss Institute of Technology, where he did his PhD within the Swiss Research Centre on Materials Modelling. He brings deep international academic experience in quantum and condensed-matter physics, with senior appointments across the US, UK, Europe, and China. He has led and secured major national research programs as a principal investigator on UK EPSRC grants, with additional funding from AWE and the UK National Physical Laboratory.
