Dr. christian ortiz

Christian works on quantum–HPC integration tools and contributes to the deployment, integration, and maintenance of Quantum Brilliance’s quantum accelerators into HPC environments.

Previously, Christian was Sr Scientist at Fraunhofer ITWM in an applied machine learning research group, focusing on practical and industrial applications. Christian was also a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Spin Physics Theory Research Team at RIKEN, where he developed spin transport models in mesoscopic systems using Green’s function formalism and quantum Boltzmann equations.

Christian holds a PhD in Materials Science from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, where his research focused on theoretical spintronics.
