Dr. david collomb

David leads the technical development of the integrated diamond quantum chip production for sensing and computing, bringing extensive device fabrication experience.

Prior to Quantum Brilliance, David worked at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where he helped install and optimize custom-built dilution refrigerator scanning tunneling microscopes used to investigate and manipulate molecular spins on surfaces. In recognition of this work, he was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Scholarship.

David holds a PhD from the University of Bath, where he developed and optimized classical Hall-effect magnetic field sensors using cleanroom nano-/micro-fabrication and electronic device testing processes. During his master’s studies at Fudan University in China, he developed a holographic imaging technique to probe cold atom lattices for quantum applications.
